A Formal Apology
I would like to formally apologize for the behavior I have displayed during this cycle of Strike-a-Pose: Guys Edition. I am sure you are greatly disappointed with this cycle of SAP: Guys. I take full responsibility for the lack of professionalism and quality. Participants dropping out each round and my co-creator’s unexplainable departure had taken a tremendous toll on my confidence as a contest leader and was detrimental to my ability to stay focused on the competition.
With the lack of commitment participants have displayed during this cycle to the SAP modeling contest I had developed a ‘lets just get this over with’ attitude. Its difficult to accept that all of my hard work preparing for this cycle had almost gone to waste with people leaving without explanation. I am more than grateful for those that stayed.
If you hadn’t before now, you would’ve be correct in pointing out the lack of professionalism and quality I have displayed this cycle, and I apologize. I have failed to produce the proper lines of communication, I let havoc run wild on the blog, and I have not been consistent in giving adequate photo commentaries. For that I am truly sorry.
As you may have read on the forum I am planning to take full executive duties for both guys and girls SAP. I am planning to add more judges, more prizes, and more model slots to each contest. Although my dedication to cycle 2 slumped, I have more confidence for the next. Every tv show, recording artist, movie studio, etc has their ‘dark periods’, but it is in those times that they learn from their mistakes. When cycle 3 premieres I will keep in mind all of the mistakes that I have made and ensure that its quality and professionalism are reestablished.
Again, I apologize for my errors this cycle and I am thankful for those who took the time and energy to stick it through. They are more than deserving of the $10 Sims 3 Cash Card reward and will both receive their prizes via email.
If anyone has any suggestions as to how I could improve the quality of Strike-a-Pose III, I am more than open to hearing them. Feel free to drop me an email any time.

With Justin, Garrett, Alexx, and Derek not submit photos for assignment 3 they will act as the official elimination for this round. So everyone will be advancing to the challenge.

We also would like to let everyone know that extentions can and will be granted. We understand that it is Mid-Winter. New school terms have begun and 1st quarter job assignments have begun; most school/work schedules do not provide enough time for gameplay, let alone gameplay with photos. If at anytime you feel that you need more time, the judges are more than willing to extend a deadline. You just need to let us know more than an hour prior to deadline.

As you may notice, Adrien did not submit photos for assignment 1. Adrien (playermarko456) has officially withdrawn from the competition. His (her) inability to produce photos for this challenge will be the elimination you all have been dreading. That is good news for you, bad news for the judges (My personal favorite was going to be the planned photo shoot 3, which will now be skipped to fit the number of remaining models).

Congratulations to the models chosen to participate in Strike-a-Pose: Guys Edition II. We are very excited to have you with us for our second cycle all-male photo contest, and are looking forward to an amazing season.
Be sure to review the general guidelines and judging rubric. You will need to be familiar with how the judges are scoring your photos. If there are any questions regarding the judging rubric or guidelines, please feel free to either post the question on the blog or send one of the judges an email. We will do our very best to answer your questions promptly.

Strike-A-Pose: Guys Edition II

First we would like to thank you for taking an interest in our little competition. We are currently taking audition applications until Sunday January 10th, Midnight PST. Within 48 hours after that, the 10 handsome gentlemen chosen will receive confirmation emails. Those not chosen will also receive emails saying as such.
We are looking for guys of all types, ages YA & A, to make this edition interesting and the competition fierce!
